When the deeds of my hands I consider
When on mere human scale
I weigh my heart and life
The result points me to damnation
I know I deserve not to live

Though I am aware of His judgment
Yet, its consequences I take for granted
Despite my knowledge of redemption’s cost
I am still below His standard
His grace I instinctively frustrate

But Lord, a fresh decision I make today
My life I now rededicate
My ways I plan to consciously cleanse
For the price you paid is invaluable
Just to save me from eternal trap
