Communication

Two of the chambers of the physical human heart (right atria and right ventricle) transport oxygen poor blood from the body back to the lungs where it is re-oxygenated before being returned to the body via the other two chambers. (Left atria and left ventricle) If we think of oxygen as a metaphor for the Holy Spirit, this process might remind of us of how our minds and attitudes are continuously renewed in the presence of God through the ministrations of the Word of God and the experience of prayer and the praising and worshiping God. Not that the Holy Spirit is less present with us some times than other times, but that some of our lines of thought or reasoning and ways of feeling and deciding things are less Holy Spirit directed than others, depending where we are in our "cycle of Christ consciousness" on any given day.  In which "chamber of our hearts" are we currently dwelling or functioning at any given moment?  Is our spiritual"circulation" that which can be  accurately and truly called healthy?  We are bound to cycle through different chambers, but we need to be in the correct chambers at the correct times and for the correct amount of time in each chamber.
