Eternal life is glimpsed and felt at least faintly in the living out of a full day. An abundant day in an abundant life. We cannot truly catch an irresistible vision for our lives without catching or being captured by a vision for each day at its outset. The vision is there with accompanying revelation, like the dew on the grass each morning, like daily manna, but we have to present ourselves to receive it. A full life is filled with full days, full to overflowing. Eternal life can begin here and now.
"Without a vision the people perish (cast off restraint.)" Proverbs 29 v.18
