What's In The Temple

Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’” Matthew 21:12-13 NIV

Our body is meant to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Is your body a temple of prayer, or is it a place full of robbers and thieves? We need to turn our will and care over to God. We need to let go of control. Only in this manner can the temple of our body be that which God desires. Jesus told us the Father would send the Holy Spirit to guide us in the ways of His Son. The Spirit speaks only that which He receives from the Lord.

When we let go of control, we are freed. We come to realize that the control which we seek within ourselves will not make us that which God desires for us. Let go and turn control over to God. You shall be free to live a life obedient to the Lord.
