“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20 NIV

We must remember always, that whenever two or more are gathered in the Lord’s name, He is present with them. This is so vital, so critical for us to truly grasp. So much power can be released when we fully realize that the Lord is in our presence.

We must realize, that when we gather together in the name of the Lord, we gather with the intention to bring glory to God, and to work for the advancement of God’s kingdom. This can come through worship, prayer, or action. We may ask the Lord to intercede on our behalf, or of that of others, but, we must keep in mind that the true desire behind all we ask must be for the glory of God.

Gather with others in the Lord’s name. Ask that God be glorified in the gathering. Then be prepared to see God work, in His ways, and not in ours.
