Psalm of a Grateful Man

LORD, you are my lot in life;
My cup constantly runneth over…
My boundaries, yes, they are boundless
Since You called me over
To the light side
To the bright side
Like a candle on a stand,
You shine through my eyes now
You made a monster into a man
Of righteousness, truth, mercy, and love
Yes, I used to be a sociopath
Till You touched me from above…
You’ve given me everything
My heart has ever desired…
You’ve stoked my embers into flames;
You’ve set my heart on fire…
Is there anything
You wouldn’t do
For those who care enough
To seek the real You?
And now that I’ve found You,
I’d be lost if I let go;
You are my main Man, my God!
And oh, how I love You so!
So, how could You savor
A sinner such as I?
I guess I won’t know that
Till our souls meet in the sky…
But just let me add
This one huge thing:
I am ever so grateful
To hold and be held by the King of all kings!
