Eyes, Ears, and Hearts

But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear. For truly I tell you, many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it. Matthew 13:16-17 NIV

Being as the words of Christ are as pertinent today as the day He spoke them to His disciples, we must realize that we who believe in Him are truly blessed. We have spiritual eyes that are truly alive to the truths of God. This is a treasure which those who are of this earth do not possess. We hear the message provided in God’s word. We eagerly seek His word, and pray that the Spirit works within us to do His will. We have hearts that belong to the Lord. We know He loves us far more than we could ever love Him.

Let us share the wonderful message of Jesus Christ with those of this world. The message we have to share is that which they truly need to hear.
