How Do Yours Cast Out Demons?

And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. Matthew 12:27-28 NIV

Jesus now turns the table on the Jewish leaders. If Jesus used the prince of demons to cast out demons, then what did the followers of the Jewish leaders use to do as such? They would not have been able to answer that question. Then Jesus brings the truth to light by saying that if He removes demons through the power of God, then the kingdom of God is at hand.

The Jewish leaders could not, and would not accept the obvious, that Christ had come from the Father. Their minds were closed to the truth. It did not matter what Jesus said or did. The leader’s minds were made up, and they accordingly planned to kill Jesus. They suffered the ultimate loss.
