“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” Matthew 11:27 NIV

The relationship between the Father and the Son is unique, to say the least. The Father sent the Son to us with a purpose, the fulfillment of His perfect plan for the redemption of mankind. No one can know the Father like the Son does, nor can anyone know the Son as the Father does. The only way for us to know the Heavenly Father, is through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is so, as Jesus is a reflection of the Father. In John 14, Jesus tells us that those who have seen Him have seen the Father also.

The Father has committed everything to the Son. He wishes that all would give glory to the Son, as they do to the Father. Christ did nothing of His own. He did exactly that which the Father asked of Him. He was obedient, even unto death. Christ was the perfect sacrifice required for the salvation and redemption of mankind. In Christ, the Father’s plan is fulfilled.

Live with the Holy Trinity indwelling you. Your life was bought with a price, a price which you could not pay. God’s Son paid the price for you!
