'O America don't be discouraged
let your heart pray and seek God's face
Comfort one another each and every day
for strength will be needed in every way
Anger and malice must not be heard
there's already enough hate around us
So lets rid of it, with God's word
and forever in him be our trust
If He be the God of our country
then He will surly remain
When we allow his wisdom to intervene
then rest assure that we will gain
How can we win if we fight one another
What purpose will it serve
Who's to say what's right or wrong
if we don't take the time to observe
If we loved before, why not now
If we were a help don't let it stop
Treat one another right, regardless of the war
and this will keep us on the top
We can't afford to lose God's mercy
not a ounce of grace, that we don't need
So let our focus not be clouded
seeing we all came from the same seed
My heart goes out for the soldiers
no matter if their skin, is black or white
So instead of bickering and causing a riot
lets pray while their in the fight
Christian's fighting Christians, every day
and each neighbor is throwing his stone
What happened to the principals of this country
why has it been left alone
Honor and respect is a passing statement
Humbleness has closed it's door
Now hate and rebellion has stepped in
and the God of our country we want no more
Expression of thought, is good when in order
but some has carried it to extreme
And began to pull down, innocent people
that are trying to up hold the dream
Sound wisdom is always pure and helpful
Bad intentions always bring things down
'O America let love filled prayers, be the answer
so we can keep God's grace around
You can support this country by pulling together
not fighting and fussing on the streets
For the soldier's welfare rest's on you
and in how you keep your feet
Why not take that time to comfort mothers and others
while in their wait for love one's to return
Try to feel the pains and fears they have
try to show a little concern
Yes these are some very sad times
that's why it's needed more insight today
And it's nothing wrong in voicing an opinion
as long we don't,let it hinder in any way
A true patriot knows his duty
and will not, abandon his post
But will fight for their country all the way
for they see what matters the most
We cannot stop what's been predicted
but we can grow in more mercy and grace
So to help this nation forever stand
in whatever she has to face
