How many have tried to out think God
and even try to take his place
Not giving him credit of his grace and mercy
almost mocking him to his face

Forgetting that we were made from the dust
that He spoke to and we did live
And no glory no one can take from him
nor is it, in their power to give

The sky appeared by the sound of his voice
He told the stars and moon give light
And then He told the sun to send forth heat
then at days end, He called the night

Who can dare try to wear God's pants;
this is only a manner of speech
For God is a spirit, yet walked among men
and his ways He also did teach

He walked the shores of Galilee
fed five thousand with two loaves and two fish
But more than that, a miracle was performed
it was not done by a wish

Now there is nothing wrong with wish's
for it too is a manner of words
But, I rather take God at his promise
it backs up what you read and heard

Nothing can duplicate God's Holy word
it will stand while others go down
Now stop and take a look at his greatness
we came from the dust of the ground

There is not but one creator
the very air we breath is from God
He spoke everything, into it's existence
who is better to have on your side
