Lord take me to another place in you
and just keep me safe and sound
So the cares of this world will not affect,
the love in you I've found

Lord please keep this soul of mine
put a hedge around me each day
So I won't lose such a precious gift
when times I'm tempted to astray

Though wars be far off and all around
so many troubles my eyes do see
But your peace inside will be my shield
this promise you had made to me

I cannot predict, the tomorrow's
yesterday's gone and it won't return
But my hope, is bedded within
so no firing troubles will ever burn

Let the joy you gave forever flow
and your light, shine through, when dark
Build me up when I'm torn down my
so my life will keep it's spark

Let your abiding love be well preserved
banish all tears filled with doubt
so in whatever I face let me not forget
that you are, the only way out

Lord, I take nothing, for my journey
i'm so glad I'm in your care
Now keep me hid in that secret place
a shelter that covers anywhere
