“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Matthew 7:21-23 NIV

One can say that which they wish, but one’s action speaks loudly about their true character. We can speak highly of God, but, if we don’t follow in Christ’s steps, living our lives on a daily basis for Him, then how shall we expect to enter the kingdom of Heaven? Being a Christian is more than just word, or deed. Being a Christian is a total way of life. It reflects in our very character. Being a Christian is not easy. At times we do fail our Lord. But, He is merciful, and ready to forgive us when we come humbly to Him, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

Be totally committed to Christ. There is no other way to eternal happiness.
