“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:26-27 NIV

How much our Lord truly loves us. To worry is not good for one’s health. Here, the Lord tells us not to worry. If God provides for birds, who have nowhere to store up food, how much more will He provide for us. He wants us to come to Him, dependent upon Him for both our physical and spiritual needs. He also adds about not being able to add one day to our lives through worrying. People constantly fret about so much in life, not keeping in mind that this will not in anyway increase their life span. Think about what really matters in life. Don’t focus on that which you will not take with you at the end of your earthly life.

Don’t spend time worrying. Put your total faith in God to provide all that you need. Live in His love, and share the message of the Good News with all you meet!
