Worship Him For Who He Is

Neither John, nor any human is worthy to carry the sandals of Christ. Christ is God, incarnate. We are mere mortals.

We worship and praise God often for that which He does for us, and so we should. Without God, we are nothing. We are dust, to be cast into the wind, and scattered all about. We truly are dust, and will return to dust.

How often do we praise and thank God for who He is, and not just for what He does for us? God is the creator of all. The Son, Christ Jesus, reveals the Father to all. Do we honestly take time to worship God just for who He is? We need to do this, for if we don’t, are we not being self-centered, just seeking Christ and the Father for what they do for us? God is God, regardless of mankind. God would still have been God if He had not created mankind. Yet, He did so.

God wishes for us to worship Him for who He is. He does also want us to worship Him for that which He does for us.

Make sure to worship God for who He is. God is everything that is good.
