He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:11c-12 NIV

You can run, you can hide, but your heart and soul cannot escape the scrutiny of the Lord. The Lord searches the heart and soul of all mankind. No one escapes. He is separating the sheep from the goats.

Everyone is given the opportunity by the Lord to come to Him and be saved. Too many are so blind that they cannot see the gift offered to them. Others see, yet do not seek, as they are caught up in earthly desires. The blessed are those who see, and seek a change in their lives. They come to realize their utter dependence upon God. They understand they need an intercessor before the heavenly Father. They know they have nothing good within them, to justify them before the Almighty.

So, we are all offered the gift of salvation, and we all shall have our hearts and souls scrutinized by the Lord. The day shall come when you stand before the Lord, and your life’s words and deeds shall stand there with you, before the Lord.

Will you be a sheep or a goat? I pray that as many as possible will be shown to be sheep, sheep of the Good Shepherd. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit work within. Goats can be made into sheep. With God nothing is impossible. He just needs to have you let Him in. Then the process begins.
