When the world becomes
Too hot to handle at times
Rest on my Sacred heart
My cooling touch will refresh you.
When the darkest night
Is too long and not ending
Rest on my Bright heart
My light will show you the way ahead.
When the hardest tear
That falls cannot be dried
Rest on my Soothing heart
My fingers will gently wipe those tears away.
When the trials of life
Come all too soon without warning
Rest on my Knowing heart
My grace will blow each trial far away.
When the passage of Time
Gets more engrossing and lively
Rest on my Joyful heart
I will share your ecstasy along with you.
When every Prayer said in faith
Gets more pleasing with the days
Rest on my Bountiful heart
I will reward you more than you can imagine.
When your heart longs at all times
For another heart to accept its love
Rest on my Loving heart
I will Love You a million times over
All through the days of eternity!
