God's plan and purpose, will bring pain
and some rejections too will be
But to be a leader, or position you desire
some things up front, we won't see

There are things we got to learn to take
in order to know how to give
And it may get a bit messy on the way
but that's when we begin to live

Now some days the sun it won't come out
we we'll have a few dark clouds too
But we got to endure until it comes forth
and learn in how to make due

We may have to take a few knocks and blows
but they won't, overthrow us
So lets settle in, until they come to an end
and to rely on whom we trust

Disappointments too, will come our way
no praise's will land at our feet
And no encouragement, at our beck and call
yet we must not claim defeat

Everyday there is, another chapter to write
we'll be done a lot of dirty deeds
Being put through the mill, but not forsaken
but still a desire to sow more seeds

When we reach in, our little heart bag
to pull out the good inside
Then we can take the rain, as well as the sun
and tell patience you can ride

Why would the Lord say, to be not discouraged
if trials wasn't suppose to come
For we have the victory on the inside
so there is no need to succumb

Now let the Soul say yes, mold me Lord;
and do what you have to do
And help us to stay with your Holy word
so more good will come through
