Although we didn't choose this journey
but in still we have to go
The order was given by the Lord our God
and only, He does know

For the captain have need of his vessels
so many waters we must tread
And it matters not where He will take us
for by the spirit we are led

The ship won't suffer any lasting damage
maybe a few dents along the way
Then there are sometimes it may get scared
but it doesn't happen every day

So though the going may times get rough
and looks like it will never end
But if faith's on board, we'll reach the shore
by the power that works within

It is made to endure all through each test
Jesus promised He'll never leave us
So lets press forward with a conquering heart
and forever on his word to trust

Because it's not over, until it's over
for mercy is looking out for thee
And it's being overshadowed from above
when at times our eyes can't see

Above the waves of toils and troubles
and while in the depths of despair
The Lord is riding with us on this journey
and He has not gone anywhere

Now better the ending, than the beginning
so think on what lies in wait
Don't give up the ship, but stay on board
for God has not once been late

II Corinthians 12;9 And he said unto me,
my grace is sufficient for thee; for my
strength is made perfect in weakness
