O' let the spirit boast
and flesh stay humble
Let God's spirit speak
not my mumble and jumble

Let the spirit search hearts
and let mines be silent
Just, let it be the judge
for He can be tolerant

Let the spirit reprove
and mines shut down
Let his spirit rule
for his word is sound

Let the spirit be in control
and let mines behave
Allow God's spirit be the one
to say who can be saved

Something's good going on, in God's Kingdom
right here, right now, all the time
For the word said, that it's within us
it's God's word, and not mine
