The Preaching of Peace

He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit. Ephesians 2:17-18 NIV

 

Jesus Christ’s message was, and is the same to all. He brings to us the words from the heavenly Father. Christ let us know the Father’s will. He let us know about the love of the Father, and His desire for an intimate relationship with each of us. We can have the peace which comes from knowing the creator of everything. Christ’s message is meant for everyone, but, only a few choose to accept it.

It is through Christ Jesus that we have access to the heavenly Father. As the Father and the Son are one, unified forever, if we believe in Christ, love Him, and keep His commandments, then we also have access to the heavenly Father. All believers in Christ are given the gift of the Holy Spirit. Since the Spirit teaches us all truths about God, through the Spirit we grow closer to the Father and the Son.

 

Remember always that you have received the peace of Jesus Christ, and that through the indwelling Spirit, you have access to the Father and the Son. What a true blessing we have been given!
