In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God’s holy apostles and prophets. This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 3:4-6 NIV

Th Holy Spirit revealed to the apostles of Jesus Christ a mystery which had not been shared with previous prophets and apostles. Paul was one of the apostles of Christ to whom this mystery was revealed.

The mystery revealed was that, through Jesus Christ and the Good News about Him, Gentiles are made heirs with the Israelites to the kingdom of God. Yes, through belief in Christ Jesus, through giving our all to Him, all are united into one body, under the headship of Christ.

Christ longs for unity amongst His people. If we are united, then others would be more likely to accept what we have to say about the Lord. When we are not united, it is harder for others to accept our speaking of the Lord. So let us work to be united as followers of Christ. Let us set aside our differences and focus on what is truly important, the truth about Jesus Christ.
