Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. Ephesians 1:3-4 NIV

Wow, the Heavenly Father, the creator of the entire universe, and everything contained therein, has, in Christ Jesus, provided to us, His children, every spiritual blessing. Notice, that it says every, not just some. Why is it then that we might believe we only have some spiritual blessings? Quite possibly it is because we don’t pray to the Father and the Son about proper use of every spiritual blessing. God intends the blessings He bestows upon us to be used for the advancement of His kingdom. Do we feel like, on our own, we can properly utilize these blessings? Let us remain humble, and realize that it is the giver of the blessings who can reveal to us how they are to be used.

Through Chris Jesus, we were chosen to be holy and blameless in the sight of the Heavenly Father. Even before we were born, God knew our hearts. He knew those who would believe in Him and His Son, our Savior Jesus Christ. I am a sinner, and I know this all too well. Yet, the Heavenly Father has said that through His Son, Jesus Christ, I will be able to stand before Him, holy and blameless. That sends chills down my spine just thinking of it.

Praise you Heavenly Father, and you Lord Jesus for being so loving to us, and giving us so many spiritual blessings. May we use them wisely for the advancement of the kingdom of God.
