So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Luke 11:9-10 NIV

What is the door of which Jesus speaks? It is a door of which man cannot find except through Christ. It is the door of opportunity. Opportunity, again, which mankind cannot provide. This door leads to eternal life. One receives salvation. The door is Jesus Christ himself. In John 10:9 Jesus says “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” KJV

If we knock with humility and earnestness, Jesus opens the door and comes into our heart. More than any other door a person could knock at during their life, this is the one which needs to be approached and knocked upon. Isn’t it so reassuring to know if we truly seek this door and knock, IT WILL BE OPENED!! The opportunities behind this door surpass our wildest dreams. We are incapable of imagining all that awaits us.
