You will die in your sins; if you do not believe….

We are created in the image of God, expected to live this mortal life as ‘Ambassadors of God’, to reach our final destination of ‘eternity with God’.

The Devil has schemed to distort this blessed plan of God in our life. He is actively deceptively operating in this mortal life of ours so we may not live in this world as a child of God and thus eventually miss our eternity with God.

The Pharisees at the time of Jesus were covered with hypocrisy, knowing the law, yet were totally ignorant of the law maker and cared less to follow His commands.

Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.”

John 8:21 NKJV

Jesus clearly told them that they would die in their sin and thus would never enter the eternity with God….what is their sin?

“Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.”

John 8:24 NKJV

Failing to acknowledge God as our Lord and Savior makes one eligible for eternal hell, and what’s for them who accept Him and believe in Him?....

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

John 1:12 NKJV

The Lord is knocking at the door of our heart (as mentioned in Revelation 3:20) and if we invite Him into our lives, He desires to bless us.

God’s will in our life is that we live perfect and holy in His blessed will and inherit the blessed eternity.

Let not the Devil distort this blessed plan of God in our life, let’s resist every temptation to sin by the power of the Word of God and live this life pleasing Him in everything we do.
