I have been disobedient, Lord,
And I don't know why.
I thought I was better than this,
Not to mention I'm terribly shy.

My mistakes effect everyone I know,
I just don't know what to do.
My flesh is putting up a fight,
But I will manage to pull through.

My sadness chases me like a shadow,
When you told me to rejoice-
After all, I have my blessings,
However small, and I
Still have a Voice.

I never thought these things would happen to me,
You are coming soon and I'm not prepared,
To be honest Jesus, if the whole world turns against me,
You are the only one that truly cares.

You care when my pillows are soaked with tears,
You care when they laughed at how I dressed.
You care when no one has the answer,
You care when things simply aren't fair...

But I will declare and will decree,
That My Life is in Your Precious Hands-
You Bled your Precious Blood on Cavalry,
And at the end of every day, you know the Plan.

My iniquities are over my head,
My past is in my reflection,
But your angels surround me all the time,
And Your Word is my Protection.
