God keeps telling me,
“Let me Heal your Heart.”
Then why do I keep giving it to man,
Making people an Idol
From the start?

Lord, let your wine and oil
Pour over my Soul Wounds-
For if I’m wounded,
No Sword can Save me in the Battlefield.

The enemy tries to plant seeds
In my dreams,
So I got to get on my knees and pray,
And he pounds me with thoughts of
Fear and discouragement.
Condemnation and loneliness
Are becoming my friends instead of Jesus,
Oh, but they failed to die for me on the cross
So I should forsake them,
Instead of forsaking my Lord and Savior.

Frantically searching for a job
And spending my afternoon
On Periscope and YouTube
When I barely know my Word.
And if I am the Light of the World,
That means I’m held accountable
For everything I do.
I listened to a Hell Testimony,
And I realized I don’t love God like
I say I do.
So I cried out in repentance
My face soaked with tears,
Don’t know who my friends are,
Don’t even know who I am anymore. Why?
Because Change is scary and unfamiliar,
But I want to be BOLD for Christ,
And not stuck in my shell.

Why time flies by so fast before the day is over,
No one can tell.
I am tired of running away from conviction,
Church hurt got me bad.
My friend on the telephone asking me
Why am I so sad.
But didn’t Paul have happiness in the
Midst of Shipwreck and days spent in Jail?
So why can’t I be happy too?
I want to have Love, Joy, and Peace,
The Fruits of the Holy Spirit growing
In My Garden.

I don’t know of which one I’m more afraid of:
Failure or Success.
If Life is an Exam for Obedience,
I got to Deny Myself and Pass the Test.

Let the Crown of Fire
Be placed on my head,
And let it burn all evil thoughts and painful memories,
And let me Preach Instead.
