Romans: 8: 16, 17 –“16.The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. 17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together”.

{A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life. But one day he saw a swan. “This swan is so white,” he thought, “and I am so black. This swan must be the happiest bird in the world.” He expressed his thoughts to the swan. “Actually,” the swan replied, “I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colours. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation.” The crow then approached the parrot. The parrot explained, “I lived a very happy life until I saw a peacock. I have only two colours, but the peacock has multiple colours.”

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him. After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock. “Dear peacock,” the crow said, “you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet.” The peacock replied, “I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happy bird on the planet. But because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage. So for past few days I have been thinking that if I were a crow, I could happily roam everywhere.”}

Many times in life we want to be like someone who we admire or someone who looks like they have figured out all things in life. In Reality, they might be in the same situation as us or still trying to figure out things but do not showcase it.

Our primary focus should be having our identity in Christ and focus on Him. We must look up to Jesus, because He’s the only person that can work out things for us and make our life beautiful. God has given us all His best and it’s our job to use all the talents, riches, wisdom and gifts for His Kingdom. And when others recognize this amazing vibe from us, they will for sure know it is because we are identified in Christ and heirs of Abba Father in Heaven.

We have the access to speak to Him anytime we want and He’s right there waiting to listen to us. So, let’s not worry about our situations and why we are stuck when others are moving.  Don’t worry, Your Heavenly Father will rescue you and show the path which you have to take as said in His word in Psalm: 32:8 –“I will instruct you and teach you concerning the path you should walk; I will direct you with my eye”.

Remember we are created by God in His image and we are His heirs. We are unique.

Dear Abba Father in Heaven,

We are so honoured to know that we are created in Your image and we are Your heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We rest all our cares and worries at the Your feet. Heavenly Father would You take care of it for us and sustain us in Your unfailing love, protection, joy and mercies. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.
