Matthew: 9:29 – “According to your faith be it unto you”.

Few days back when I was going through the icons on my phone, one particular icon of a dove with an olive leaf in its beak caught my attention and that immediately triggered me to the time of Noah. After the flood there was only water everywhere for 15o days and towards the end, Noah sent a dove out to see if there’s any sign of dry land. To his surprise, the dove came back with an olive leaf in its beak.

I looked at this story in a different way. When Noah sent out the dove, he would have had faith that there will be a sign of land somewhere. His faith brought him a hope for him and his family. I pictured the dove as an icon of “Faith” which returned back with an olive leaf in its mouth. And that leaf is “Hope”.

I have been praying for God to help me with few things and asking the Lord to show His ways in my life. I was worried and I needed to hear the Lord desperately at that point. And then suddenly I see an image with such beautiful words from a Father who loves me beyond boundaries. His words were, “Stop worrying my child, I have plans for you. Smile now”. I felt the Lord’s love cover me and gave me the assurance that He will work it out for me in His ways. His words helped me to place my faith on Jesus and hope for His best in my life.

Many times, we lose our hope in few areas of our lives which needs a miracle. “Faith makes all things possible, hope makes all things easy”. I encourage you to not to worry about what you are going through but have faith in Jesus and He’s our hope in our lives. He’s our Father and will never let His children suffer.

Remember, God’s love makes all things work, Faith in Christ makes all things possible and Hope from Christ makes all things easy.

Dear Heavenly Father in heaven,

We thank You for Your love and we praise You for Your marvellous doings in our lives. Lord, we are in awe of Your goodness. Our Father, help us not worry but cover us with Your unfailing love. We love Father. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

God bless you.
