Psalm: 138:8 –“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me”.
This particular song has been lingering through my mind for the past 2 days and I have been singing it whenever it crosses my mind. It’s a song of assurance that God knows what’s happening in my life and His word which He spoke over my life will carry me through the rough times. He has promised His word in my life and is faithful to purpose that which concerneth me.
Be it unto meAccording to your WordAccording to your promisesI can stand secureCarve upon my heartThe truth that sets me freeAccording to your Word O LordBe it unto me
You promised your word will deliverLord, we believe it’s trueYou promised us joy like a riverLord we receive it from youThese things you have spokenAnd you’re bringing to passThis world’s disappearingBut your word will last.
It’s such a beautiful song that speaks life to our weary soul. Yes, difficult situations are always there in our lives but Christ being present among us during those times and His unfailing words over our lives always brings us hope for tomorrow. We have a God who is faithful to perform what He has said over our lives. His words are words of truth and the bible says, “His testimonies are true”. His fulfilled word in our lives are always testimonies for us to remind us during our difficult times that God reigns and is mightier than any difficulty that comes our way.
God promised Abraham that He will “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you”. God kept that word and made Abraham the father of many nations and blessed him. Be confident that God will purpose that which concerneth you. Have faith in Him and His unfailing word. By Faith Abraham was able to possess the Promised Land, by faith Sarah conceived, by faith Noah became heir of righteousness (Hebrews: 11).
I want to encourage with this message, “As you fix your eyes on God’s faithfulness, you’ll find that faith to receive your miracle will effortlessly arise. Beloved, I encourage you to meditate on God’s sure promises in the Word, and to see Him faithful to bring to pass all that He has promised!” – Pastor Joseph Prince.
Dear God Abba Father in Heaven,
We thank You for this wonderful day and we praise You for all the things You have done in our lives. Lord, make our lives a living testimony to those who are seeking for answers. Lord, fulfill Your words over our lives. We love You. In Jesus Christ Name. Amen.
God bless you.
