Nehemiah: 8:10 –“The Joy of the Lord is my Strength”.

Lord has provided mankind with so many foods to consume which are healthy which gives us strength for our physical being. What about our spiritual being? What gives our spiritual being strength to stay strong during the different kinds of battles we face in life? The answer is “JOY OF THE LORD”.

To experience that joy we must have Christ as the focus of our lives and always rely on Him. The Joy of having Christ in our lives gives us immense Strength to face our trials and tribulations. We must have our eyes fixated on Jesus and seek His face every moment of our lives because His joy gives us strength to pass by every day. We all are not in control of our lives and what tomorrow holds but when we keep Jesus as our focus and centre of our lives, the toughest battle that we face will look small to us, because Jesus pours our His joy, peace, hope, love, grace and strength which carries us through.

I call this as a chain reaction, “God is love, He gives us Joy which floods our souls and His Joy in our lives gives us peace that passeth all understanding and His peace in our hearts gives us hope for everyday and that hope in our lives gives us grace to face any battle (My grace is sufficient for you) and His grace gives us His strength helps us spiritually, physically and emotionally to cross every Red sea, River Jordan and to bring down the walls of Jericho in our lives

So from receiving Joy from Christ we receive a whole package of goodness which are peace, hope, grace, and strength which we need every day in our lives. All this is received when Jesus is the primary focus of our lives, we must seek His face first before we start our day because His mercies are new every morning. Rejoice in the Lord always.

Dear God Abba Father in Heaven,

Hallowed be Your name. Lord, we give You praise for the numerous miracles You have done in our lives. Lord, continue to work in lives and give us Your joy. Lord, let Your joy be the strength of our lives for evermore. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

God bless you.
