I feel lost full of so much despair.
Barely sleeping, mind full of thoughts, unbearable to share.

The pain that is screaming from the deepest part of my soul.
Are emotions that are stuck in my throat.

I have searched to find the origin of all my pain.
But God is protecting me to keep me sane.

I am in constant battle between reality and fantasy.
Only being able to put on paper my painful rhapsody.

I want to connect my mind and my heart.
But they are two separate entities tearing me apart.

Right, wrong, good, and evil.
Has my world In a chaotic upheaval.

Death, pain, sorrow, loneliness, and despair dominate the weak.
The endless struggle continues and holding on to hope turns wary and meek.

It's easier to give up and give in.
Turning a blind eye to the truth and embracing sin.

But when I close my eyes and let the darkness settle.
I hear a soft voice that makes my body tremble.

The voice reminds me I am not alone.
That He is always with me and that I should know.

He said, do not be ashamed if you forgot.
For the world has a way to destroy what you were taught.

The world sucks you in, by offering fast gratification and endless highs.
Riding an emotional roller coaster, until you open your eyes.

The ride is over and all the fast downfalls and twists.
Has left your life in an incredible mess.

And right when I am ready to give up.
That voice say's to me, drink from my cup.

It will fill you in ways the world wish it could.
And wash away your worries, like I said I would.

My child, I have never left you. I am here holding your hand.
And I will sort out your problems and help you understand.

Be patient my child I know this is hard.
But I will decide when to play the next card.

Put me in control and have Faith in my promise.
I am your God, and will be the Light in your darkness.
