There is a pain inside me I cannot shake
It runs deep in my veins keeping me awake

Although running away is not an option
I need to clear these thoughts with caution

My days are darken with continuos blows
With the demons that refuse to let go

The harder I fight, the strong the grip
My insides feel like they are going to rip

Every time I Pray, the pain subsides
Like a refreshing breath, till I open my eyes

I made the demons angry, they are coming on full force
Attacking me with an anger reinforced

They whisper in my ears, all I've done wrong
Now my anxieties are keeping me up all night long

I start to see the ugly that is whispered in my ears
An ugly truth that has brought me to tears

A case is made that I am too dirty for Salvation
With registered proof of these hideous allegations

I feel defeated and weighed down
Clinging to Hope, before I drown

How easy they make it to forget your worth
They've been building a case since your birth

The Burden is so heavy, I can barely breathe
I am at the point, that no one can see

It could be so easy to just give up
Forgetting I drank from the eternal cup

Before I crumble, I hear another whisper
A sweet humble voice, that was more familiar

It kindly reminded me of who I am
And the price that was paid by the blood of a precious lamb

I was reminded that God will not keep record
That He is my Savior and not my oppressor

I need to turn a deaf ear to the ugly whispers
And embrace the Truth of the One who delivers

I need to love the person that I became
And allow God to become my domain

I can no longer allow the world to be my center
I need guidance from my Ultimate Mentor

Once I let go of what I think I need
I can finally embrace the Holy Spirit inside me
