REFLECTION OF A CHRISTIAN
The true reflection of a christian: to surrender one's life and follow the example of Christ. To love your neighbour as you love yourself, and to love God above everything else.
Have you ever stopped to think about why we struggle to convince people to becoming believers, about why we should label ourselves as under achievers? A lot of people don't want to become believers or christians, for the way we behave and the way we treat them. Sometimes we live a life contradicting to the life of Christ. Instead of living one filled with love, compassion and sacrifices; we live one filled with hate, indifference and justifying our own devices. Our souls should be intertwined with the words of 1 Peter 3:8-9. We should have concern and love for each other; also be kind and humble to one another. We should not be hateful and insult other people, instead treat everyone with kindness, because it is God's will. We are all sinners, that is why Jesus died on the cross. He loves everybody and wants none to be lost. We are diciples, fishers of men; we should be an example for the world to see the light again. We are only here to spread the truth and plant the seeds; God will water and prune the trees. We should live with God as the centre of our very existance. Not try to fool the world with our fake habits of repentance. We continue to sin and then ask forgiveness, but in the same breath we condemn people doing the same, to death. Before we find fault with another, we should look at our own reflection in the mirror. Do we see the reflection of Christ or just another human being living a hypocritical life? We have not been given authority to judge the people of this world, we have been placed in the same circumstance of free will. Free will to live this life, with the choice we made to live for Christ. We should stop forcing our "religion" or "beliefs" on people, instead treat them with respect and treat them as equal. Most importantly we should love like Christ and show the world the true meaning of Life, a life where God shines in all hearts, turning darkness into light, so that all will know His glory seen in Jesus Christ. So be the reflection of God's Spirit in you, and let the world know who Jesus is, by the things you do.
