The 31st of the 10th. A day the devil goes through great lengths to guide the people from the truth. It's almost like April's fool; this time the only joke's on you. It's a day this earth is decorated by designer costumes and a candy coated cancer, as little children are out to have fun, unaware of the lurking nacromancer. The nacromancer; also know as wizzard or warlock, someone pursueing witchcraft and dark arts..A little bit more about the truth hid in plain sight. Halloween is not about fun and games, instead about evil spirits and sacrifice. It's the time of the year the Celtics called Sambain, a time where the dead could supposedly rise again. While they sit at grave sites hoping the dead will give them foresight, they sacrifice virgins and food, to appease these spirits for one night. Today called: "trick or treat". People stand by and watch the devil cheat in playing the ultimate game of deceit. Jack-o'-lanterns guide the spirits on the neighbourhood streets, the same streets where little children are walking from door-to-door begging for sweets. Should we participate? The question Christians ask themselves..Go read 1 Corinthians 10: 20-21 and Ephesians 6:12. Jesus doesn't want us to celebrate with the dark side. He wants us to stand by His side to witness as He turns the dark to light. On this day, we as Christians should hold hands and pray, pray against the evil misleading little children, against the evil corrupting the hearts of good men. We should pray that the people's eyes open towards their blindfolded sacrifice and make them realize, before their demise, that the only sacrifice is to keep offering praise to God in the name of Jesus Christ. So hold on to the words of Hebrews 13:15, and let our praises be the end of Halloween.
