Do You Have Faith In God?

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain
of what we do not see.

You know it is so easy to say, "Father God, I put this all
in your hands. I know you will take care of it." Easy huh?
Then ten minutes later we take it back and start worrying
and fretting, saying, "How am I going to fix this? I don't
understand God. When are you going to take care of this?
I just can't do it. I give it to you Lord, I know you will take
care of it."

Wow, then for a little while you feel at peace with it all and
you walk away and forget it. Right? But then when the answer
or solution doesn't come when we think it should (our time),
we take it right out of God's Hand and start all over again.
Fretting and worrying, trying to come up with our own answer.
Going around and around that same mountain.

Matthew 17:20 says:
He replied, "Because you have so little faith, I tell you the truth,
if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this
mountain, "Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing
will be impossible for you."

If we only would truly believe that scripture, there is nothing
impossible for us. Nothing at all we could not take care of. And
according to God's Word, it only takes faith as small as a
mustard seed. Wow, sounds easy doesn't it? But I have to
constantly practice my faith.

Romans 10:17 says:
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the
message is heard through the Word of Christ.

We increase our faith by hearing the Word of God. We increase
our faith by believing and trusting in that Word. I remember
several years ago I took that step of faith. I walked away from
something I had, to something I wasn't sure of.
I was working retail and putting in a lot of hours, weekends and a
lot of nights. I appreciated my job very much, but I had no time
for nothing else. I spent all my time at work, no time for family,
no time for me, but the one thing I missed so much (being a New
Born Again Christian) was being able to go to church every Sunday.
I was so hungry for God's Word. But I also knew God had provided
this job for me, so I couldn't walk away from it. So I prayed everyday
asking God, "What do I do? Show me Father." I prayed everyday
that He would open a door for a job that I could do so that I could go
to church and do more to help others and to give more time to Him.
I prayed that everyday, as I continued to work and Thank Him for
my job.

Well one day, I was sitting at my computer, looking once again
for something I could do from home, something Christian Based
that I could earn a living and help others and be able to go to
church and spend time with God and my Husband and family. I had
been looking for several years for a "Work from Home" job. Even
tried a few, but nothing worked. So I really didn't think this day would
be any different, but God had another plan.

As I sat there looking, praying that something would stand out, it did
right then. Yes, off to the right, there it was, almost like a spot light
on it. Something I had never seen in all the years I had been looking.
"Work from Home" making "Disciple's Cross Necklaces Craft Kit."
Wow, "Disciple's Cross Necklaces?" Well I was a little doubtful, but
I clicked on it and started reading. Almost sounded to good to be true,
but I read it over and over again. I put in our favorites so my husband
could read it. And I prayed...I asked God to show me what to do. Well
my husband read it over and after a few days of praying about it and
seeking God's guidance, I ordered the kit. I was so anxious to get
started. The kit arrived.

The first few I made didn't turn out very well. I was getting a little
discouraged, thinking I can't do this, I just wasted my money. But God
kept speaking to me, "Where is your faith? You asked me to bring
forth something to do from home, "Christian Based" and now you
doubt. Trust me, put your faith in me."

Mark 11:22 says:
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.

So I kept going and working and seeking God's help. They got easier
and easier to make with each passing day. Thank You Father! Their
program was that you can make 50 at time and send them back and
they will pay you for each one they keep that fits their specifications.
The first few batches I sent they didn't keep them all, but I could sell
them to whoever I wanted to and they paid me for the ones they kept,
just like they said they would. I was so happy.

Well I started wearing these beautiful cross necklaces and my family
was wearing them also. People started asking for them. I was making
them as fast as I could, but the orders were piling up. I was so excited.
I was loving every minute of it. I Thanked God everyday for bringing
this to me. And then , that day came...the Good Lord spoke to me.
"It's time to step out in faith and do this full time." Really, was that really
God speaking to me or satan lying to me? Well I talked to my husband
and he agreed it was time to take that step. I called my sister (as I
often do for advise) and I told her what I was thinking...she told me
that in her prayer time that morning, God told her it was time for me to
step out in faith and do this...Wow, that was just the conformation I
needed. Answered Prayer! So I gave my two weeks notice and became
a full time, "Disciple's Cross Necklace Producer", and I am still doing
it to this day...and still loving it. God has opened so many doors for me
since I took that step of faith. He has given me so much and I Thank
Him and Praise Him everyday for it.

1 Peter 4:10
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others,
faithfully administering God's Grace in it's various forms.

Not only has God opened that door for me to make those Cross
Necklaces, but He has also opened doors for jobs that I can help
others with testimony of all He's done for me and my family. I can
do what He's called me to do. Thank You Sweet Jesus! I did step
out in faith, seeking Jesus' guidance first. Praying and asking Him
to show me what it was He had for me. I have to admit, I was a little
afraid to take that step, but I knew I had to put my faith in Him. He
never leaves us or forsakes us.

It takes faith to believe that God exist and He rewards those who
diligently seek Him; and it takes faith to seek a Heavenly Kingdom
when the world tells us to seek the comforts of life now.

2 Corinthians 4:18 says:
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For
what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is Eternal.

Faith is a gift of God. As you walk closer and closer to Him, it gets
easier and easier to take that step of faith, to put your faith and
trust in Him

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone
who comes to him must believe that he exist and that he rewards
those who earnestly seek Him.

Practice your faith...Seek God first in all things. And when you finally
place it all in His hands...Leave it There and have Faith and Trust in
Him to take care of everything.

Faith, Trust, Believe...Amen!
