God's Timing: Perfect!

Psalm 62:8
Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to
Him, for God is our refuge.

Timing is everything, isn't that an old saying? "The timing
has to be just right for this to work." Yep, timing is every
thing. But God's timing is very different from ours. God's
timing is "Perfect" in every way.

I remember a few times when my timing was way off, but
God's time came right on time. God is never early and God
is never late, even though it sure looks like it is, at times.
A few years ago, we were struggling with finances, as we
sometimes do, (just like everyone does at times). And I
had several small bills to pay, you know those little extra's
that come up through out the year, and wondering of
course, how can I get this paid. Then when it gets down to
the wire...wow...there's a check in the mail that covers
everything and then some. God's Timing...He's always
on time.

1 Peter 4:17 says:
For it is time for judgement to begin with the family of God;
and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those
who do not obey the gospel of God?

Sometimes God's perfect time is for our protection. To
save us from something bad or harmful. That's why it is
very important to listen to that still small voice...which is
God trying to tell you something. This reminds me of a
story that happened several months ago...I was on my way
to one of my cleaning jobs and God spoke to me and
said..."Text Justin (my son)and just tell him you love him.
Well I thought that must be me a mom thinking so I just let
it go and kept right on driving. Well I pulled into my
destinaton and parked....and God spoke to me again....
"Text Justin"....so I did and I simply said "I love you....
just wanted you to know that". Well he came right back to me
and said "Ok....is everything Ok". I could tell it bothered him
a little that his Mom would just send a text like this since I
had never before. But I said "Yes, Honey all is okay just
wanted you to know that I Love You". He replied...
"I love you to".
Well that evening he had called me to see if I could pick up my
granddaughter at the Christian Church the next night before
I came. She goes to there Wed. night live events they do
there for all the kids in the area. I said of course be glad to
and he said you know Mom it was kinda neat how that text
to me happened. I said what do you mean Honey....He said
well I was just getting ready to wire a big breaker box
(he is a master electrician...has his own business) and
I could not shut off all the electricity to it so it was going to be
a little dangerous to do and I was going to have to be very
careful and slow down. Your text came Mom and I stopped
to answer you....And you simply said "I love you"
So I did slow down and I wired the box with no problems...
It was kinda neat the timing of it.
Well I told him.. "I Pray for you everyday Honey for God's
protection in your job, because I know it can be dangerous
once in a while...God watches over you everyday and He
must have wanted you not to start right when you were
going to so He sent my text to just simply slow you down...
and then He protected when you done the job". "Honey
we may never know why He did that right at that certain
time but He protected you from something I Believe"....
And my Son just said "Yes....you are probably right....
And I always know Mom that you Love Me".

Thank you Sweet Jesus for Protecting and watching over
my Family. And always remember it's very important that
when God speaks we listen and do what He says because
He Knows the reason Why...And His timing is Perfect!

Romans 9:9
For this is how the promise was stated, "At the appointed
time I will return, and Sarah will have a son".

God can see way ahead and around every corner, so to
speak. Places we can't see. So we wonder sometimes
why things happen in our day that cause us to be late
or to delay us for a time. But God knows why...His timing
is perfect.

I remember one morning I had a cleaning job to go to,
and normally I like to start early when I can, but this job
I had to wait until a little later to start. So I was home when
my husband took off to go haul his Amish crew to a job.
So we said our good-bye's and love ya, and off he went.
Well about 15 minutes before I was going to leave, the
phone rang and it was my husband calling, saying, "You
have to come get me, I have a flat tire and no spare,
and I have the whole crew with me on this gravel road".
So he gave me the directions and off I went to pick him
up. Well to make a long story short, we got him a new tire
and they got on their way and I went to my job.

As I was working and cleaning, I started Thanking and
Praising God for His protection of my husband and the
crew. Because I suddenly realized the outcome could
have been so much worse had the Good Lord not stopped
him on that gravel road. You see he was headed to a job
several miles away and would be driving on the highway
at 55 to 60 miles an hour...had that tire blown then...
I don't want to even think about that possible outcome.
Thank you sweet Jesus for your perfect timing and
your protection.

Each step that morning was all in God's time...the delay
in the time for me to start cleaning (which kept me home
longer) so my husband was able to get ahold of me...
and the place (on that gravel road) God chose to stop
my husband with that flat tire, instead of the highway
running the speed limit. God's timing is Perfect. So when
these delay's sometimes happen, instead of getting
upset and mad, we need to Thank God for them. We
need to remember, God can see what's ahead and even
a short delay can protect us from something very bad.
God's Timing is Perfect.

I remember another time that God's Timing was right on
time. My mom and I and my sister and sister-in-law had
made a trip to Kansas to see our aunt (Mom's sister),
who was in the hospital having some health issues. We
wanted to take Mom to see her as they are both getting
up their in age and live far apart so not able to see each
other very often. I was driving and as we got on our way
we came into one of the towns along the way and , well
we took the wrong turn and was off track for a little bit.
But we got back on track and kept going...getting along
really well and somebody said "I'm hungry, lets eat". So
we pulled of the Interstate and tried to find a cafe to go
into and eat...we drove and drove and found nothing, so
I said forget it, we are going on. So back on the road we
go. Well we went along and got close to where we needed
to be. I noticed the traffic was getting very heavy and we
were just barely moving...4 lanes of traffic and cars and
semi's all around us...I was amazingly calm and I knew it
was God helping me to drive, even though Mom was
getting very nervous with all the big trucks around us...
and as we were sitting there waiting to move forward, Mom
looked over and in between the traffic was a huge Cross...
God letting us know, He was with us.
Well we made it through and kept going and finally the traffic
started moving again and we came to where our family was
waiting on us to lead us on through to the hospital. We
made it into the room and was so happy to see them all,
and as we were visiting and talking, we heard on the news
that there had been a high speed chase and a person had
been shot by the police and killed...wow, we would have been
right in the middle of that chase and shooting had God not
delayed in those little towns along the way...God's Timing...
perfect once again to protect us from something very bad.
Thank You Jesus...God's Timing is Perfect!

Hebrews 9:28
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of
many people; and he will appear a second time, not to
bear sins, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting
for Him.

Thank You Sweet Jesus!!!
