Week 4 Day 2 Make Declarations in His Name


MAKING DECLARATIONS
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14: 13- 14


There is a difference between making a request to the Father in the name of Jesus Christ as stated in John 16:23-24 and also making declarations in the name of Jesus as seen in the opening scripture. Many of us are taught to believe that prayer is only a request made to the Father but Jesus added another important dimension to receiving answers from him. Christ informed his disciples in the opening verse that there is another form of living the heavenly life on earth and it involves making proclamations in his name, as he assured all that he was indeed prepared to honour his word that his Father may be glorified. This is what declaration is all about. This form of prayer was employed by Apostle Peter when he encountered a lame man in Acts 3:6. He commanded, “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” This form of prayer is not the conventional one we are all used where you first address the Father. This is known as making declarations in the name of Jesus. When you employ the name of Jesus to make declarations as seen in Luke 10:17-19, devils, spirits shall be subject unto you. Make same declarations in your nation today. You are blessed.

Declarations:
I come in the name of the resurrected Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve, I forbid and disallow further opposing activities of any satanic personalities with diabolical assignments concerning my life, ministry, and family, and I wage a war with them in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
