It Is Actually More Difficult To Fail

You have shown Your people hard things.

Psalms 60:3 (NIV)


It is difficult for a person to be what he/she ought to be, but it is much more difficult not to be.

It is not easy to earn a living, but it is a great deal easier than starving, begging or stealing.

The price of morality is high, but the price of immorality is higher.

It is tiresome to endure one’s burdens, but to refuse is not tranquil.

There are bitter circumstances which try to person’s politeness, but rudeness sweetens nothing, only adds bitter to bitters.

It is most difficult to do anything meritorious, but it is a thousand times harder to fail.


Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You lift up those who are hard times. Lord, I ask that You would lift me up and heal me during this difficult period in my life. Grant me increased faith, peace, joy, and praise rather than doubt and disillusion. I resist fear, anger and misery, and I thank You for restoring my spirit and showing me how I can obtain that abundant life You have promised, in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
