Now in your distress there is help
and in discomfort there is rest
When you feel forsaken and all alone
the Lords arms will be your nest

He'll visit you in the midnight hour
be with you all through the day
He'll fill the tables of your heart
and communue with you, in his way

He will minister with His Spirit of joy
lifting, the depths of despair
giving you the gladnes of the heart
which nothing else can compare

I'd mend what is broken and damaged
and move what brought the pain
And it will heal the wounds left open
so your life won't be the same

This is a promise he's able to keep
for he never takes anything back
If he said it today, he'll say it tomorrow
for his record is backed by facts

Don't fear to bid him at your table
spread it wide and bid him in
He'll bring the china that's well suited
just let your heart be his Inn
