Truth sets Free.

In life information is key. Everything relies on information to function smoothly.

Before a child is born the prospective parents need to know the sex before they can adequately prepare and plan for it - what type of clothing to buy, how to decorate the nursery, choice of toys, etc - otherwise they risk making the wrong choices. The farmer needs an accurate weather forecast in order to maximise productivity - if rain was expected but didn't materialise, the planted seeds risk being lost to drought - otherwise there would be loss of inputs and scarcity of food.

Similarly if we have perfect information about the future, our lives would be a smooth and easy sail. If She knew that He was just a pathological 'playboy', she wouldn't have suffered her heart to be broken. If He knew that, that very lucrative job was going to be terminated abruptly as a result of the company going under, he wouldn't have jumped ship trying to escape a lower wage only to capsize and drown in the sea of no wage.

The cost of perfect information is unquantifiable and it is priceless. The usual response to most misfortunes is "If only I knew!".

What if I told you that indeed you can know everything you need to know about your life in advance? That you can have a perfect information about anything?

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

God alone is omniscient - all knowing - and He knows the end before the beginning. Before you were born, God already knows how your life will pan out up to the very end - He knew about the playboy and He also knew about the wrong job move - and all you needed to do was ask.

Simply seeking God(enquiring of Him what to do and not telling Him what to do) in every situation will give you the much desired but elusive perfect information.

God's will in any situation is referred to as the Truth and this Truth is superior to human facts.

If it isn't the Truth, it is a lie - be it half-truth, white lie, partly true, seems true, half-truth mixed with lies, etc. - and a lie (in any form) will trap you for life.

But the Truth will liberate you and set you free.

John 8:32 KJV
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Beware of false prophets!

Many will claim to 'see' your future and indeed will accurately tell you about your past and present. Remember it's not every vision that is from God. The evil sorcerers and the wicked witches also 'see' things and correctly predict some future events. This is the devil's way of entrapping you for life. Beware!

The hood does not make a monk.

That it is called a church doesn't make it a church. Not every 'Ministry' is God's ministry. Not every apostle is an apostle of God. Not every prophet is from God. That they read from a bible and prescribe prayers and fasts doesn't confirm they're of God.

Matthew 7:15, 21-23 KJV

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

God can and will tell you everything you need to know about your life directly through His Holy Spirit(John 16:13) if only you ask.

The problem is many would rather consult man than God. They want a quick service and as a result have become entrapped by the lies and deceptions of the devil. The same lies he (devil) used to deceive Eve in the very beginning - he tried to tell them their future if they ate the fruit(just as he's doing today through his prophets) - but remember that what he told them was half-truth. Genesis 3:4-5 KJV

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Their eyes indeed were opened and they knew good and evil but did they not also die(physically) and as we now also understand(spiritually)?

The half-truth was used to coat a deadly lie - death - and their 'gain' ( knowledge of good and evil) was not only not worth the cost (separation from God and eventual death) but in effect it became an unnecessary burden. I believe they were later to prefer not knowing good and evil.

The devil is still in the business of deception using half-truths to conceal deadly lies and his prophets have invaded christianity(as a religion). Beware!

By their fruits you shall know them.

Jesus came to give us eternal life. His ministry was that of reconciliation of man to God. His message a simple "Ye must be born again". Every miracle He did was in pursuit of that reconciliation of man and God and not a show of power. His life up to His death was about a new life and His resurrection and ascension points to eternal life.

His apostles and prophets are not any different - they are doing exactly what their Master did - they are focused on a new life and eternal life and everything they say and do is directed to that objective.

Wolves disguised as sheep.

If they manifest healing, make you wealthy, assist you with 'breakthroughs'(husband, wife, children, jobs, etc), and raise the dead, but minimise the need for a new life through the born again experience, the necessity of living righteously, the hope of eternal life and do not proclaim the soon coming of Jesus Christ, they are NOT of God. Beware!

The choice is yours. You can embrace a lie with it's fleeting gratification and be entrapped for life. Or you can embrace the truth(even if it isn't immediately gratifying) and be set free.

John 8:36 KJV

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Do you want to be free? Are you free?
