More Fruit (John 15:1-2)

“I am the True Vine and My Father is the Vine dresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit He prunes that it may bear more fruit.”

The imagery of the vineyard and the vine was frequently used by Jesus because it was something people of the culture and day were familiar with. We are still blessed by these words thousands of years on, when we let the imagery draw us into Him. Let His voice speak deep into your heart and minister to you through this message today. This Word is bubbling up from the inner Spring, and it is from His heart to yours!

“My child, you have been confused, and have been asking me what is going on, but you are in the midst of a shifting season. I am taking you into a time of great fruitfulness, where you will see the fulfillment of plans and dreams which I spoke into your life many seasons ago. This is why you are experiencing changes in your life. There are people and situations I am moving away from you because they have hindered the fruitfulness I want to see, not because they are bad but they are simply not a part of My plan for you. I know this may be painful, and you feel the loss of what is familiar and comfortable, but I am only drawing you into deeper dependence on Me.

I am the True Vine, and there is no other but Me. You have been depending on the wisdom of the world, and the guidance of the flesh, but true wisdom and revelation only comes from Me. I am the True Vine and true fruitfulness only comes from Me. Attach yourself to Me. Depend on Me. Trust and rest and fix yourself in Me. In this season of change, you may feel like you are standing on shifting sands, but you will stand strong so long as you root yourself in Me. I am drawing you into deeper Truth and deeper glory. Detach yourself from every other Vine and wrap yourself in Me. My joy and peace and grace are amply sufficient for you.

I always prune the parts of My vine which are growing well. Pruning does not have to be painful if you let me shape you gently with the Words from my heart. I love the fruit that I see in You and I love how you worship and draw near to Me. I love your faithfulness and how you love and look to Me. In this season of your life, I am building you up. I am making a beautiful branch even better. I see the wonder and the power and the greatness that I have purposed you to be. Hear My Word and let it shape you. Let Me mold you into the reflection of My glory. You are beautiful and my radiant, glowing Bride, and I want to see you happy and flowing in the power of My Spirit. Can you stop resisting your present situation and simply yield yourself to Me? As I speak My Words of life over you today, I am calling forth your destiny. I am creating a vision of greater fruitfulness and harvest from you that will bring Me great glory!

Remember that you did not choose Me but I chose you and appointed you, that you should bear fruit, eternal, lasting fruit (John 15:16). Fruitfulness was always on the cards. Stop feeling frustrated with what you see as a lack of progress. I am moving you now in the right direction. Things are happening towards the way they are meant to be.

My precious child, I love you so deeply, and I covenant this day to work with you and to walk with you, and to take you into every good thing in your life which I have already purposed to see. We are journeying through this season together, and you are in this school with Me. Be glad and rejoice, because of the upgrade you have been marked to see. It is not a season of frustration but of victory. Expect the best, because that is what you are destined to see!
