When the so-called "Enlightenment" came along in the late 18th Century saying that humankind was basically good but just needed to be taught the right things to improve itself, ignorance was considered the great evil of the day. But what Enlghtenment thinkers overlooked was that the same word "ignorance" contained the root that would best refute that ill fated and flawed philosophy: the verb "ignore." The Trojan horse was within the camp, the Enlightenment was its own worst enemy, dispensing the seed of its own undoing.

Humankind knew what was right and true all along, but chose to ignore it in order to have things it's own way. Ignorance is also a choice. Each one of us in our own lives has ratified that choice. In that attitude we were well represented by Adam and Eve. Of this deepest and worst IGNORance there are no innocent victims. But thank God there is a way out provided through Yeshua the Messiah!
