Isn't DisneyWorld a people trap operated by a mouse?

Cats are normally very independent, but when they are taking a
bath, they have total control over ignoring us. It seems it would
take a cannon blast to get their attention -- I'm judging by our
Tigger.

Is it possible that we are so engrossed in me, me, me, that God has
to use dramatic measures to get our attention? Is that possible? I
think so, but I hope God doesn't have to use shock treatments to
keep my attention where it belongs. We tend to major in "me,"
don't we. Instead of our focus being on "me", our focus should be
on Him. That can even be true of our worship. We want it to
concentrate on what gives us an emotional "high." We want it to
be exciting so that it pleases "me."

Jesus had this to say in Mark 8:34 (nlt), "...If any of you wants to
be my follower, He told them, you must put aside your selfish
ambition, shoulder your cross and follow me." That means submit
your will to His will. So how do you know His will? You all have
a Christian's Owners Manual called the Bible. At many places
between the covers, you'll find His will outlined.
