In my mid-twenties I was confused and drifting, like a ship without a rudder. I thought some counseling would help, and it did - I was able to gain some confidence, enabling me to cover-up my inner brokenness. So I felt better, but I did not grow in the ability to love others deeply.

At the end of his earthly existence Jesus didn't hide his pain. In obedience and faith He put it up on a cross, on top of a hill, for all to see. Three days later his Father transformed his Son’s pain into eternal life for all of us.

Instead of covering up internal pain, what kind of life-giving people do we become when we let Jesus transform any brokenness so we feel deeply and are able to touch others where they live?
