So vulnerable, bare, exposed and carefree
Beauty from within
Inner strength from the tree.
A source of nurture that comes from above
The rains, the sun,
Natures show of its love.
Patience, calmness, gentle beauty in a breeze
Only reacting to an outside influence
Will a leaf shake its tree.
Humans, like leaves, grow and nourish from above
The tree of our strength
Matures through God's love.
View life as a leaf
And God as your tree,
For in God's forest - the leaves
Are simply you and me.
