Lord please keep, this house of mine
keep it dusted from head to feet
let my walls display, pictures of truth
and have frames of faith to stand the heat
Wash my windows with your perfect love
so to see clearly with a positive mind
so when the clouds of doubt, try to enter in
it will work each and every time
Sweep and clean the floors of my heart
mop away what was damaged through the years
Then refresh it with sweet savoring grace
that will surly cleanse away the tears
Let your peace abide in every room
furnish it with joy and delight
Let the angels sing songs to lift my spirit
to keep me happy all through the night
For on the outside it does get noisy
and sometimes the weather it won't be kind
So the house it take a quiet of beating
yes it does suffer this house of mine
I pray you fasten my steps with true faith
let me grounded by the word you give
So that whatever comes, I won't be up rooted
and this house will contiue to live
Now here is another important thing
is my hearts door needs attention too
and it must remain open for your entrance
so it can receive what is honest and true
Lord let your word, cover my roof
so it will protect what you put inside
and when someone does ask about this builder
I can boldly say in my heart you abide
