O' ship don't be discomforted
for your anchor is still in place
You are being secured by the almighty God
helping you in whatever you face

Although the ride is not easy
many waves will get in your way
But hold on O' ship and ride it out
there remains a better day

Your captain has secured the vessel
it's full of promise's that he has made
Through all of your trials and tests
know this, every debt was paid

Sail on O' ship and don't be dismay
for your God has full control
Be still and know that all is well
for you his hands do hold

Keep your mast of faith held up high
and let his words be your oar
Through the deep dark waters that your in
O' ship, still keep him on board

On land or sea our God is faithful
in the longest days we can rest in him
And he's on watch through longest nights
being that light, when times are dim

Now soon the troubles will roll away
not saying there won't be more
But, there remains a rest for the weary
so the ship can reach the shore
