What kind of gas is in your tank
is it getting the right milage it deserves
Is it filling the need to help keep it running
so the motor will stay fit to serve

Is your soul engine, using super premium
what grade are you burning within
Is it being serviced, to be kept in top shape
so it won't stop and come to an end

Is it now backfiring and blowing black smoke
wearing down, the engine each day
And is it spitting and knocking on each mile
when things don't go our way

Could it be that it needs a good tune-up
a few points won't hurt one bit
The service is free, but will cause some patience
so not to blow it, with a tantrum fit

Now the car will go through some wear and tear
and different things will begin to go wrong
It can happen unaware, before you really notice
and sometimes that's much too long

There is a thing that's called right or wrong
not everything can fit the same case
And if you try to add it in, it will backfire
because, it was done in haste

We have to know how, what and when to use
so it will operate in the right gear
For when it's not used, with the proper in-put
I'd cause to bring doubts and fear

So now here we are cars, lets make that stop
let us give that little pep-up a try
For who needs to break down while on our rounds
when we have the Lord to heed our cry

When we find ourselves, getting a little tired
he is willing to take over and drive
So when something acts up he supplies the remedy
so we be a conqueror, not just, to survive

We have a God who knows which turns to make
for so many times we fail to know
And he promised to fill us when we call on him
whenever our souls run low

Ephesians 6;11 Put on the whole armor of God
that ye may be able to stand against the wiles
of the devil.
