I thank you for your love.
I thank you for your mercy.
descending down from above.


I thank you for your Spirit.
I thank you for your pow'r.
I thank you for your precepts.
In this dangerous hour.



I thank you for your wisdom.
I thank you for your law.
I thank you for your prophets.
Who wondrously worked your awe.



I thank you for your friendship.
I thank you for your grace.
I thank you for your Kingdom.
A glorious human race.



I thank you for your cleansings.
I thank you for your cross.
I thank you for your judgments.
Twas never your people's loss.



And now if truth be told
Your people thank you bold.
For all that you have done,
May your saints soon be one.
